RPG (Role Playing Game)
Role Playing Game adalah genre game yang jika bertarung , akan lompat ke frame lain . Biasanya game seperti ini dibuat seperti cerita , dan ada awal mulanya , contoh kenapa dia harus bertarung dengan monster-monster. Genre ini adalah genre yang paling populer .
Ciri-Ciri Khusus:
-Pertarungannya , melompat ke frame lain.
-Monster / Musuh
-Levelling , Inventory , Skill
-Quest
-Shop , Item , Equip , Magic
-Gauge System (HP , MP , SP ,dll)
Contoh RPG : Final Fantasy , Mana Khemia , Persona , dll.

Action
Action adalah genre game yang intinya adalah beraksi , menyelesaikan misi oleh 1 orang tokoh utama.Lebih menuju / menitikberatkan pada permusuhan dan kekerasan. Kadang kala menggunakan pistol , tetapi tetap tidak dimasukkan ke dalam shooting karena pistol tidak selalu di tangan dan aksinya lebih nampak.
Ciri-Ciri Khusus:
-Banyak aksi (melompat , memanjat , dll)
-Masalah yang timbul harus diselesaikan dengan perkelahian bebas
-Permusuhan / kekerasan
Contoh : Grand Theft Auto , Game Jacky Chan dan Jet Li , Tomb Raider.



Shooting
Terdiri dari 2 aspek :
FPS (First Person Shooting)
Artinya Pemeran utama adalah sudut pandang pertama alias kita sendiri sebagai pemeran utamanya (wajah tidak tampak , hanya pistol dan pergelangan tangan yang nampak)
Ciri-Ciri Khusus :
-Wajah pemeran utama tidak tampak
-Kadang kala hanya ada icon target saja yang muncul dan bebas digerakkan.
-Jarang mennggunakan sistem inventory.
-Pistol Selalu di tangan( ciri genre shooting)
Contoh FPS : Delta Force, Time Crisis , The House Of the Dead, Left 4 dead , dll.

TPS (Third Person Shooting)
Artinya Pemeran Utama adalah sudut pandang ketiga alias ada tokoh lain yang kita perankan , yang terus membawa pistol .
Ciri-Ciri Khusus:
-Memakai sistem inventory , dan senjata beragai macam
-Player Tampak
Contoh TPS : Resident Evil , Dino Crisis , dll


Adventure
Adventure adalah genre game tentang bertualang / petualangan . Genre yang lebih fokus menyelesaikan masalah daripada aksi , karena itu tidak dimasukkan dalam genre action .
Ciri-Ciri Khusus :
-Biasanya bersifat Fantasy
-Adanya benda yang harus diambil (misalnya koin , kristal atau apapun).
-Musuh yang ada boleh dilewati (Artinya musuhnya tidak harus dilawan)
Contoh : Crash Bandicoot , Spyro , dll.



Strategy
Yaitu genre yang membuat kita harus menyusun strategy atau rencana untuk menyelesaikan misi.
Terdiri dari 2 yaitu :

RTS(Real Time Strategy)
RTS artinya kita selalu mengontrol aliansi kita.
Ciri-Ciri Khusus :
-Biasanya bersifat membangun (misalnya membangun barrack , tent , dsb.)
-Peperangan oleh pasukan secara massal
-Temanya Peperangan zaman dahulu .
Contoh : Age of Empires , Age of Mythology , dll.

TBS(Turn Based Strategy)
TBS artinya strategi yang dimainkan secara bergantian , dengan rute "player-lawan-player-lawan"
Ciri Khusus :
-Giliran bermain secara bergantian
Contoh : Catur , Yu-Gi-Oh! , dll.

Arcade
Arcade adalah Genre pada game yang dibuat seperti game DingDong (mesin yang biasa insert coin baru bisa main) dan focus pada High Score.
Ciri-Ciri khusus:
-Focus pada high score
-Kadang game ini ada yang tidak pernah tamat.
Contoh : Pinball , MiLines , dll.

Pinball

Fighting
Fighting adalah Genre bertarung yang focus pada 1 musuh.
Ciri-Ciri Khusus :
-Lawannya 1 lawan 1
-Health Barnya 2 , 1 player , dan 1 musuh
-Tinjuan dan Tendangan + Biasanya disusun dengan combo

Contoh : Tekken , Bloody Roar , dll.



Sports
Adalah Genre yang perrmainannya adalah olahraga.
Ciri-Ciri khusus:
-Berhubungan dengan olahraga.
Contoh : Winning Eleven , PES , NBA , dll.


Racing
Adalah Genre yang permainannya Balap-Balapan / Racing.
Ciri-Ciri khusus:
-Berhubungan dengan mobil / motor yang membalap
-Sistem jual beli mobi , spare part , upgrade mobil , dll.
Contoh : Need For speed , 2Fast2Furious , Asphalt ,dll.




Side Scrolling
Adalah Genre yang cara mainnya dari kiri ke kanan atau sebaliknya .
Ciri-Ciri Khusus:
-Permainannya dari Kiri ke Kanan
Contoh : Mario Bros , dll.


Puzzle
Adalah Genre yang permainannya adalah pemecahan masalah menggunakan pikiran / bisa dibilang Pengasah otak .
Ciri-Ciri khusus:
- Butuh memeras otak untuk memenangkannya.
Contoh : Wonderland Secret World , Being One , Match 3 , dll.

1.Jika Bermain game, carilah tempat untuk bersandar.
>>Ini berfungsi agar tulang belakang tidak terbiasa bongkok ke depan. Jika Tidak menjalankkan tips ini , hasilnya anda akan menderita kifosis.

2.Hindari Bermain game dengan duduk bersila.
>>Ini dapat menyebabkan peredaran darah menjadi lambat menuju kaki . Jika anda bermain di warnet yang tidak ada kursi alias duduk di lantai , disarankan anda jangan bermain disana . Jadi Kalau ingin bermain , carilah kursi atau tempat yang cukup untuk meluruskan kaki setiap memainkan game . Jika anda tidak menjalankan tips ini , hasilnya kaki anda akan melemah dan mengalami kelumpuhan .

3.Sediakan Air Minum sebelum bermain Game
>>Jika Sudah bermain game , gamers pasti pada malas beranjak dari gamenya . Sebaiknya , hidangkan air minum sebelum bermain (disarankan mengambil gelas /botol besar sekitar 1 L).
Jika anda tidak minum , maka anda akan mendapat penyakit dehidrasi yang bisa berujung pada banyak macam penyakit .

4.Atur Jarak Mata dengan TV
>>Ini sudah Pasti ..

5.Atur Contrast dan Brightness Layar
>>Jangan Mengatur contrast Layar terlalu tinggi . Ini Perlu diperhatikan apalagi terhadap orang yang bermain komputer dan handheld(PSP, NDS , Mobile , and handheld lainnya) , jika dibiasakan , mata akan mengalami kerusakan(rabun) dan radiasi yang bisa merusak otak.
Jika di set contrast agak rendah tidak akan merusak mata dan otak , malah akan memperbagus , baik console maupun gamersnya. minimum contrast 85% kebawah lah , jangan sampai 90 ke atas , apalagi 100%. Kalo Brightness jangan 60% ke atas.

6.Letak Game di dekat jendela
>>Pada saat bermain game , mata akan terpusat ke retina . Semakin melihat , semakin difokuskan . semakin difokuskan , titik fokus bisa melenceng dari retina , dan akhirnya menyebabkan rabun jauh.
Ini penyakit paling marak gamers indonesia.
Disarankan saat bermain game , sesekali lihat ke arah jauh.


7.Perhatikan posisi tangan
>>Ini harus diperhatikan , lihat gambar !
Jangan sampai tangan terbengkok sampai posisi seperti itu .
Jika semakin lama seperti itu , tangan bisa mengalami hal yang sama dengan kaki yang duduk bersila.
